We are now looking for a talented and passionate Private Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our guests in Niseko’s luxury accommodations. ────────────── ＜Job Description＞ As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for curating personalized and luxurious dining experiences for guests staying at our high-end chalets. From menu planning and food preparation to plating and presentation, you will ensure that each meal is a culinary masterpiece. Working alongside a team of hospitality professionals, you will play a key role in delivering bespoke gastronomic experiences, from breakfast to après-ski to fine dining dinners. ────────────── ＜Key Responsibilities＞ Culinary Excellence & Food Preparation ・Prepare and execute dishes that meet H2 Life’s high standards of quality and presentation ・Follow strict food hygiene and safety guidelines ・Ensure all food preparation aligns with the expectations of the HakuLife luxury experience Kitchen Operations & Inventory Management ・Follow kitchen opening and closing procedures ・Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces ・Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and place orders at least one week before guest arrival ・Ensure food cost control and minimize waste Guest Interaction & Dining Service ・Customize menus and adapt dishes to meet guest preferences and dietary restrictions ・Enhance guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail ・Deliver plated service, wine pairing recommendations, and presentation of fine dining dishes General Hospitality Duties & Flexibility ・Assist with snow clearing or chauffeur duties when necessary ・Support the hospitality team by adapting to the needs of guests and the resort ・Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and presentation ────────────── ＜Multifunctionality Principle＞ At H2 Life, we believe in versatility and flexibility. A Day in the Life (Chalet Host) 9:00 AM – Arrival & Preparation Review the guest itinerary, confirm bookings, and ensure the chalet is ready for the day. 9:30 AM – Breakfast & Concierge Services Prepare and serve breakfast, assist guests with planning their daily activities, and update guest preferences. 12:00 PM – Housekeeping & Chalet Maintenance Ensure rooms and common areas are tidy, provide laundry services, and restock supplies. 3:00 PM – Afternoon Guest Services Coordinate après-ski services, confirm dinner reservations, and provide chauffeur assistance as needed. 6:00 PM – Dinner Service & Evening Coordination Serve dinner, decant wine, and ensure guests have everything they need for a relaxing evening. 10:00 PM – Wrap-Up & End of Shift Prepare for the next day’s schedule, confirm any special requests, and head off to enjoy Niseko’s nightlife or relax at a hot spring.
